Gambling in the Sky

It seems like Las Vegas is going to have a little bit of competition. This from Yahoo News:

"Airbus said Thursday it was holding talks with a number of customers interested in converting its superjumbo A380 — the world’s biggest passenger plane — into a flying casino."

I personally hate flying, it is something about the smell of jet fuel that turns me off but I would love it more if it had this. I wonder what they would do about laws to gamble.

I bet it would be really profitable because customers wouldn’t be able to leave.

"Giant casino operator Las Vegas Sands, which has operations in the United States and Macau, is hoping to launch VIP charter flights between Hong Kong and Las Vegas featuring baccarat tables in Lockheed Martin planes, a South China Morning Post report said earlier this week."

It would definitely be an interesting thing to see and compare the floor space for seats vs. a casino. Hopefully it will not fail like Hooters airline did.
