Bush is Awake

I reported recently on an article about how George W. Bush is worried that the congress is going to "save the homeowners" and allow the possibility of future bad loans. I completely agree with him then and it was the first time since he wanted to privatize social security that I agree with him before.

He is at is again, while speaking at the New York Economic Club he said:

"If we were to pursue some of the sweeping government solutions that we hear about in Washington, we would make a complicated problem even worse — and end up hurting far more homeowners than we help."

What is it President Bush? Did you understand economics but played towards the rationally ignorant voters and get re-elected? Or did you awake one morning with a truer understanding of economics?

Harry Reid responded with this:

"The president continues to convince himself that inaction is the cure-all for the economic problems hurting hardworking Americans," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said in a written statement. "But Democrats know that wait-and-see is not a responsible strategy for an economy that is teetering on the brink of recession."

Calvin Coolidge put it best when he said:

"Four-fifths of all our troubles would disappear, if we would only sit down and keep still."

Government, please do the following!
