WTC Blueprints Found

Sorry this is late…

Here’s a scary scenario. The structural design of the new World Trade Center have only recently come to completion. To provide contractors, engineers, marketing agents and regular employees information of the design, the architectural firm Skidmore Owings and Merrill, have printed several copies of detailed schematics. These blueprints are very revealing, and therefore quite confidential. The papers are often labeled with notes of confidentiality and instructions to destroy if ever discarded.

Homeless man, Mike Fleming, was sorting through some street trash when he found two copies of the WTC plans. The papers were 150 page copies of the Tower One structural schematics. One of the two, had the first 14 pages missing, pages said to contain vital structural information.

Port Authority officials have called the find “an egregious security lapse”. I would agree. While the events of 911 are still hard to fathom, its no secret that ground zero is likely a future target for extremist organizations. It’s interesting to hear about security problems with ordinary construction, but to learn of a major lapse in the rebuilding of the WTC is disheartening. Thankfully most of the documentation was recovered without incident.
