Market’s in Everything: Boat Pictures

Usually, this is done by Tyler Cowen over at Marginial Revolution but I found one of my own that I do believe he hasn’t done. While I was down at Virginia Beach I noticed a helicopter hovering above the local boats. On the side of the helicopter said BOATPIX.com. This is a company that hovers in their helicopter taking pictures of the local boats. The boats then look on the helicopter, see the link, and then go online. They have to send in their state number or boat make and the company sends you copies of the pictures. You pay for the ones you keep and you order more. They also do events and take pictures of your house.

It is hard to believe that this is profitable with fuel and film and the person possibly not buying anything or not searching for it.

The link can be found here.
